A quick trip to Grizedale…

Now is the time to get out and do a bit of forest bathing and exploring while all the leaves off their finest colours, before they all fall off and Winter sets in…

A sunset not to be missed…

Sometimes you have to be a little opportunistic with your mini (or micro) adventures, and it might even mean changing plans slightly but that’s why I think they are so great, they usually fit in around you, taking half an hour or less.

Anchors away! Well, sort of…

I love the fact that both kids have been working on this, and that the festival was already into it’s second and last week, yet neither child had thought to mention it…

Get your kids outdoors!

Like Daddy, like daughter…

After we picked up some walking boots for my son (who is a junior size 10), I have been desperately searching for something similar for my daughter, but as she is only 3 and only has size 7 feet, we have really struggled. However, we stumbled across some by accident when buying some new shin…

What’s the plan?

It happens to us every week, we discuss and suggest things to do at the weekend but every Friday and Saturday night we will say the same thing to each other, “So, what’s the plan for tomorrow?” Every week without fail and then we spend an hour or so before we nod off sleepily googling…
